Carnival Cruise Line has announced a new ship will be joining it’s vista class series
A new 133,500 ton cruise ship is set to join Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet in 2019.
The ship will be the third vessel in the firm’s vista class series.
It is currently under contract with Fincantieri – an Italian ship building firm.
The cruise ship had been originally designed for the P&O Cruises Australia.

But now, the company’s Carnival Splendour ship with be transformed into P&O Cruises Australia, when this new vessel joins their fleet.
The new cruise ship will continue to offer Carnival’s most popular guests, a wide range of accommodation alongside a numerous new innovation.
The idea behind the new ship is for the cruise firm to offer more vista class experiences.
The name of the ship, it’s homeport and itinerary will be announced at a later date,

“Carnival Vista, which was named the best new ship of 2016 in the Cruise Critic Editors Picks awards, has proven to be the most innovative and popular ship we’ve introduced.
“Consumer, travel agent and media reaction to the vista class design has been extraordinary and we are elated to have two additional ships in they spectacular series now joining our fleet.
“Carnival Horizon, which is scheduled to be delivered in arch 2018 and now a third in 2019.”
Carnival Cruise Line will announce the name of the vessel and the homeport at a later date
The story comes after Seabourn Cruise Line revealed the first photos of its new luxury liner Seaboard Encore, which will set sail in January 2017.
The new liner will be the largest of Seabourn’s fleet, with the capacity to hold a third more passengers based on double occupancy.
Seabourn Encore launches this month after it was delivered on November 30 from the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy.
The cruise will be officially named in a ceremony on January 7 next year in Singapore.
