Seabourn cruises to christen it’s newest vessel, Seabourn Encore, as it sets sail for the first time
Last year, Seabourn introduce a new vessel to the cruise-line ships – the Seabourn Encore.
The ship is the largest of Seabourn¹s fleet and has the capacity to hold a third more passengers based on double occupancy.
According to their website, the ship has been designed to have the “newest, most modern and most acclaimed in the ultra-luxury segment”.
Although it may appear to be similar to Seabourn¹s other three ships – this new ship has a certain softness and elegance that is often associated with private yachts.

Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn said on the firm’s website: “Sarah Brightman embodies the style and sophistication, the talent and innovation, the playfulness and inviting warmth that create the unique atmosphere guests can enjoy onboard every Seabourn vessel.
“We’re so grateful to have her official name Seabourn Encore.”
Also onboard for the cruise will be a special guest – Tim Rice.
Tim has been part of the luxury line¹s Seabourn Conversations enrichment program.
The first journey the Seabourn Encore will make will be from Indonesia to Bali
The new ship, which is already sold out, will embark on a ten day cruise from Bali to Indonesia.
It is then due to head to Australia.
The story comes after Australia’s biggest cruise ship – Ovation of the Seas – made its maiden call.
The biggest luxury liner to ever sail in Australia arrived in Fremantle, on the country’s western coast, last month.
