Seabourn Encore: Seabourn Cruise Line has released the first photos of its largest liner
The new liner will be the largest of Seabourn’s fleet, with the capacity to hold a third more passengers based on double occupancy.
Seabourn Encore launches this month after it was delivered on November 30 from the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy.
The cruise will be officially named in a ceremony on January 7 next year in Singapore.
It will then make its maiden voyage – a 10-day cruise to Bali in Indonesia.
From there, the sold out ship will head onwards to Australia.

I realised how much of Seabourn’s overall product is dedicated to satisfying their guests’ appetites for surprise
The giant liner can hold 600 passengers and was designed by award-winning hospitality specialist Adam Tihany.
He said: “I realised how much of Seabourn’s overall product is dedicated to satisfying their guests’ appetites for surprise.
“From the planning of itineraries, to the cuisine, to their style of service, they are always focused on surpassing expectations and eliciting the sort of delight that results from the unexpected.
“With that in mind, I have designed a ship that is imbued with a sense of spontaneity and exhilaration, to elicit surprise and delight that will complement the rest of the guests’ travel experiences.”
Seabourn Encore: The 2017 cruise features a range of dining options including new restaurant Sushi
New features not seen on Seabourn lines until now include The Retreat, a relaxation space with private cabanas.
There’s also a Spa and Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil mindful living program and a new production show called “An Evening with Tim Rice” – with the Broadway lyricist himself.
Heading up the on-board restaurants will be three-star Michelin chef Thomas Keller with The Grill.
This successful dining offering already features on the existing Seabourn Quest.

A brand new restaurant will also debut on the Encore, called Sushi.
There are 300 cabins which are all suites with private balconies.
The Club on the fifth deck is the place for music and dancing and there’s an Observation Bar featuring up top.
Once its left Australia, the Seabourn Encore will make its way back to Europe to begin the summer 2017 season in the Mediterranean.
